BAPTIST TRAINING UNION
"Discover Your Unique D.E.S.I.G.N. for Ministry!"
You are needed in ministry ( I Corinthians 12:20, 27). A church grows when it follows the command of Christ to WIN the LOST to CHRIST and then make those believers into disciples of Christ (Matthew 28:18-20). If we are to grow spiritually, the long time disciple and the new believer, must engage continually in winning the Lost and making them into disciples. Believers build the Church! A church with growth and balance do the following - Enlist, Engage, Edify and Evangelize. The Bible reveals that the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:4, 8; 2:1-4) is continuing the work of building the Church the Christ began (Matthew 16:18) AND we are laborer together with God in this building task (I Corinthians 3:9). Where are you in the process? Are you able to share the Gospel with others with confidence? Members have "right and privileges," but MEMBERS also RESPONSIBILITIES.
