"Serve God, It's Just Reasonable"
We are to help the church teach and train the membership in missionary work and service. It is our aim to reach this high standard through EVANGELISM, OUTREACH and EDUCATION.
- To endeavor in Evangelism.
- To give information and stimulate interest in our missionary work.
- To use our God-given gifts to be all we can be in Christ.
Women's Missionary Pledge
Realizing the fact that in unity there is strength, and that more can be accomplished through cooperation than by mere individual effort, and believing, as I do, that as women was the first to deliver the message of the resurrection of Christ, she should lead in the work of soul saving, and should therefore consecrate her time, talents, means and influence to the Master.
I therefore become an active member of the Women's Auxiliary which include the Home and Foreign Mission Society, and do hereby promise to be punctual and faithful in the attendance of the meetings: to be loyal to the principles for which it stands; to support the object for which it was organized by contributing liberally by Tithe and Offering of my own substance for the work of Benevolence, Missions, and Christian Education on both the home and foreign fields; to attend the District, State and Women's Auxiliary of the National Missionary Convention of America, when possible; by striving to interest others in the work; to read the bible daily and pray for the world-wide Evangelization, Christianization and for the spreading of God's Kingdom both at home and abroad.
The Women"s Auxiliary is one of the main parts of the church structure which is designed to support all women in their spiritual growth to carry out the mission that God called all of us to do. Jesus said, not to worry but, to be sure of this, He would be with us all the way to the end of the age. Matthew 28:18-20.
Every Woman of East Mount Zion Baptist Church is a part of the Women's Auxiliary, we invite you to become an active part by coming and sharing with us in our monthly meeting to see what it is about.
A Woman that is a disciple for Christ and kneels before God can stand before anyone. your talent is God's gift to you. What will you do with it is your gift back to God. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13 KJV
Church Etiquette is the customary rules for conduct and behavior in a church of God.
*Please remember to check your cell phones and please place them on silent or vibration. Please reverence worship and do not text during that time.
When the doors of the church are open for people to make a decision for Jesus, is not the time to get up and walk out of church. It is a time to pray for those that are making a decision to accept Jesus. It is a time to examine our own relationship with Jesus Christ.
Maintain Silence before God: During the service, the congregation is expected to actively participate in the worship. However, Go, as we reflect on 2010d's house is a place for reverence and worship, not loud and idle conversations (between each other, cell phone, or texting messages.
Have you shared Jesus with someone this week?
The Women's Auxiliary Extends A Special Warm WELCOME to all Our New Members. We Praise GOD for YOU!
PREACH IT! God does not need silent witness. Be a BOLD witness for HIM! It is our job to PREACH IT!
The Church is the body of Christ, and we are called upon to love everyone and want all to be saved! Everything that God does for us is motivated by His Love and His Desire to save us from sin. It is our duty to call others to repent, and to accept Jesus as their personal Savior, and to proclaim God's forgiveness of sins and His justification. God did not suggest we go; He commanded that we go into the world and share with all that He is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE. In order to succeed in the work of the ministry, we must submit to the will of God. Let us focus on the stepping out of our comfort zone to share the GOOD NEWS! This must be our primary focus in all that we do. People without Jesus Christ are not miserable, they are lost. Let us love, so much, that we draw others to Christ. For the month of June we will be meditating on Stewardship and Thanksgiving in our bible lessons.
Share His love by telling what the Lord has done for you. Share His love by telling of you faith; show the world that Jesus Christ is real to you every moment of every day.
We look forward in 2013 with unity being our main focus as we examine ourselves while becoming living sacrifices transformed by God's power TO WITTNESS and SERVE HIM, as HE makes us ONE.
The Women's Auxiliary extends an open and stand invitation TO ALL WOMEN, members and friends, TO COME to our next meeting. It promises to be special, explosive and empowering.
