Philosophy of EMZ Music Ministry:

The definitive criteria for selection of music are the messages that it communicates. If it is instrumental music, we assess it's music quality, timbre, harmony, amplitude, rhythm, and the propriety of its use in worship. If the music has word associated with it, we value the text being Christ Centric and Trinitarian. We see worship as our response to God's initiative with us. Praise is not about what we want, need, desire or prefer. Only for the glory of God.

Musicians, soloist, choir, congregation and music appointed by God for worship are not for our entertainment alone or self-glorification.

All text sung must be consistent with scripture and doctrinally sound.

The ministry of music is seen as a grat opportunity for evangelism. It is open to both members and friends of our congregation of like faith, not just members of our church. Hoever, since we see ministry as being done for the body of Christ by the Body of Christ, we desire to maximize our own participation before supplementing our efforts with those outside our local fellowship.

The EMZ Music Ministries shall not at anytime minister some place else and neglect home and the church family.
